When I started to knit, my goal wasn't to knit a jumper or a pair of socks, have a stash of hand-dyed yarn or have drawers upon drawers of needles, it was to design my own patterns. My first pattern was The Simple Mug Hug, and after that I've never looked back!
My ideas generally stem from finding new stitches or techniques and trying to incorporate them in a 'different' way to everyday items. I also find inspiration from family and friends, TV and clothing.
